Our official construction signs are up. They are huge! You can’t miss them. The office floor plan has been finalized. The contractor is finalizing his plan. Tammy and I, and our Henry Schein Rep., Carl Bernat, will be going to pick out our dental cabinets in a week and a half! I’ll keep you posted as we progress with pictures and ideas.

Until the Government fixes all it's hiccups, we will be participating in a limited fashion for now.
But at least it's a step forward to helping all Canadians with this new program while also being fair to our existing patients.
The goal of this program is to provide dental care to ALL patients in Canada who do not have dental insurance.

JCDA PROOF! that delayed dental care due to the pandemic has caused MORE cavities and oral health problems than ever before.A recent article just released in the Journal of the Canadian Dental Association (JCDA) concluded that their study showed the Pandemic impact on oral health was bad!
"As we continue to navigate the pandemic, its impact on access to dental care is becoming apparent. This retrospective study adds to the body of knowledge showing reduced dental visits since the onset of the pandemic. It also shows a shift from preventative to more restorative and urgent care procedures after lockdown, highlighting the effect of delayed dental treatment. Anxiety among patients, limitations imposed by regulatory authorities and illness from COVID-19 among dental health care providers may have played a role in diminished access to oral health care as well as what type of services were provided and a subsequent observable escalation in the severity of disease. The importance of preventative approaches and timely management of existing dental diseases has been reinforced by data gathered before, during and after the height of the pandemic."
