We are pleased to offer free dentist-made custom mouthguards for the 7th year now! Parents of children in the Tykes division (Jr. & Sr. AMHA and LMHA) are encouraged to participate to receive their free mouthguards by scheduling an informal appointment during the entire month of August at our office Amherstburg Dental Family Dentistry.
A brief medical history will be taken and then a mouthguard fabricated at no cost to participants. We endeavor to have the mouthguards ready before the first on-ice practice in September. No parents or participants will be solicited after the clinic is over and the information retained will only be used to contact the participants to pick up their mouthguard when it is ready. This is a completely free community service paid for and funded by Amherstburg Dental Family Dentistry and Dr. Zeljko Veselinovic to educate and assist participants in sports medicine while helping to support our local hockey programs. Older children not in the Tykes program can also participate, but the cost of their mouthguards will be $25 to cover the costs of fabrication.
